Simply!!! I'm glad you asked because fuck yeah I do I Honey Arthurian lore!!!! But nigh of them are related to my 'rewritten' version of SatBK so have that as you volition (the original postal service itself is besides pretty old so keep that in listen)

A few headcanons right off the pinnacle of my caput are:

Nimue du Lac is not only the Lady of the Lake just also the Queen of Faraway Avalon, which is known for being the greatest (and somewhen the last) breastwork of magic in the legends of Rex Arthur. Considering of this great magic it possesses, the isle itself is kept subconscious from prying optics; Misty Lake is the one point of access to it from the mainland, which is why Nimue has made a hideout for herself in in that location.

The Mist Dragon (the one that Sonic fights early in the game) is called Melusine, and she'south a guardian of Avalon. As the Queen, Nimue has a connectedness to it.

Nimue herself is in possession of the sacred lance Rhongomyniad, which co-ordinate to Arthurian legends is the blade Male monarch Arthur wields against his traitorous son Mordred (who has Excalibur) in the Battle of Camlann; the boxing that leads to his death and burial at Avalon. That beingness said, Rhongomyniad is a Sacred Sword whose powers rivals Excalibur's, simply it'due south exactly for that reason that Nimue keeps information technology hidden…unless the state of affairs is dire enough to call for its power (this picture is also really onetime but homo do I want to update it soon)

Nimue - like Amy Rose herself, even - is OP every bit fuck but doesn't show it. Yous're gonna tell me the sorceress that trapped fucking MERLIN inside a tree is weak??? You're really gonna tell me Amy should've been Guinevere or some random nameless knight instead because Nimue, Queen of Avalon, Lady of the Lake who granted Arthur a sword that guaranteed victory and a scabbard that granted immortality is not badass enough for you??? COWARDS

Day 5 +11: Reflection + Truth or Lie

But thinking about how arctic the Lady of the Lake was in SatBK when Sonic went up to talk to her. She apparently felt a sense of responsibility for the kingdom's current state, since she said as much and put Sonic through those challenges, but she was so calm and detached... and simply gave it to him!

I loved information technology! Further reinforces my thought she's fae and immortal and with a unlike moral system.

And a version without easily!

Amy being Nimue in SatBK is pretty epic and cool actually because:

Nimue originally gave Excalibur and its scabbard to Arthur, which implies that Nimue knows how to forge magical swords

Nimue is the ruler of the Isle of Avalon, said to be the last bastion of magic in one case Camelot falls and Arthur is laid to residue on the isle. So basically, she IS a queen

Merlin is regarded every bit THE supreme wizard in popular media, but a lesser known fact is that he fell in dearest with Nimue and agreed to teach her everything he knew in exchange for her heart. Except that Nimue didn't reciprocate and then instead she trapped him inside a tree :)

So basically Nimue is a badass in Arthurian legend and casting Amy for that role was a great choice actually
